Company Overview:
Sino-Global Shipping America, Ltd., a global logistics and ship management services company, was founded in 2001 in New York. In 2008, it became a publicly traded company and listed on the NASDAQ. We are currently looking for a seasoned Freight Forwarder with management experience in container truck operation to join our team in Roslyn, NY.
Job Descriptions:
· Coordinate container tuck movements and oversee all inbound and outbound logistics
· Communicate with carriers, shippers and customer teams to ensure trucks are properly loaded and unloaded
· Provide detailed directions/instructions to carriers as needed and update receivers and customers on load status as appropriate
· Arrange for pick up, drop-off, and movement of container trucks to the port of export and from the port of import to the final destination
· Understand, address and resolve issues that arise in day-to-day operations
· Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by leadership
Requirements:
· At least 3 years of freight forwarding and container truck management experience
· Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
· Self-starter, responsible, goal-oriented, and driven
· Able to quickly understand and carry out tasks as assigned by leadership
